Sunday, November 17, 2024 • 16 Cheshvan 5785
10:00 AMJoin us for the Annual Rabbi Alexander M. Shapiro z"l Memorial Lecture & Breakfast, featuring Rabbi Elliot Cosgrove of Park Avenue Synagogue.
For thousands of years, the Jewish people have wrestled with what it means to be Jewish. In his new book, Rabbi Cosgrove reminds of how we can come together despite—and even because of—our differences. For Such a Time as This: On Being Jewish Today is a guide for a new generation that is reconciling the past with the present and facing the unknown future with courage, spirit, and unwavering hope.
Many thanks to [words] Bookstore in Maplewood for making Rabbi Cosgrove's new book available for purchase and signing following the presentation. All forms of payment (except Venmo and Zelle) accepted.
This FREE annual event is made possible by the generosity of Betty Feinberg and Sheldon Feinberg z”l.
