Oheb Cemetery Service
Sunday, October 6, 2024 • 4 Tishrei 5785
2:00 PMOn the Sunday between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, traditionally a day of cemetery visitation as we honor our ancestors, Rabbi Treu will be conducting a brief memorial service at the Oheb Shalom Cemetery, located at 1321 No. Broad St. in Hillside. This year it also coincides with the Fast of Gedalia. All are welcome to attend the service, whether you have someone buried at our cemetery or not. There will certainly be the traditional Yitzkor service on Yom Kippur; this is not intended to be a substitute for that. But for some, the Yizkor service is not an ideal option or is not appropriate.
